History
Founded in 2048 B.S., Pashupati Marwadi Sewa Sangh was established by members of the Marwadi community with a shared goal of contributing meaningfully to Nepali society. Since then, the organization has remained committed to humanitarian service, achieving notable milestones. It has conducted over 1,800 blood donation camps, collecting more than 58,000 pints of blood — earning recognition from the Nepal Red Cross Society in 2069 B.S. as Nepal’s leading blood-donating institution. In 2070 B.S., it received the “Health Award 2013” from Swasthya Khabar Patrika. The Sangh has been offering free cremation services at Pashupati Aryaghat since 2056 B.S. and continues to support elderly homes in Pashupati and Tahachal with food and medicine. It also assists underprivileged patients at TU Teaching Hospital and Gangalal Heart Hospital, and organizes weekly blood drives at Bhugol Park, New Road. In education, it provides scholarships, meals, and clean water to students at Shree Nirmal Vidyapith in Ranmukteshwor. The Sangh regularly conducts free health camps and awareness programs, and is currently developing a drinking water treatment plant at Teku Hospital. With steadfast dedication, it continues to expand its reach and deepen its impact across Nepal.
